Operation of Imported Power Converter Models in the Virtual Test Bed

چکیده

We describe here the use of power converter models, created originally in the simulation languages of ACSL and SABER, within the Virtual Test Bed (VTB). The VTB is a modeling and simulation software which is be ing developed for design and performance analysis of large-scale electric power systems. One of the most important features of the VTB is its capability for integrating into a common simulation environment models that were written in different languages. To verify the accuracy of the translated models, simulations of several power converters are first carried out in ACSL and SABER, then, within the VTB using the translated models. The results obtained with each approach are in good agreement.
